In Loving Memory of Captain Dominguez

Picture
May 13, 1987 - December 30, 2021
Our hearts are broken by the loss of our very own, firefighter Captain Marcos Dominguez. We lost a great friend, a devoted father and husband, and an amazing firefighter yesterday. Marcos is recognized by his peers for his passion for the fire service, working with youth being the department's Public Education Officer, giving back to the community on- and off-duty, and encouraging others to consider a career in firefighting. His selflessness, his kindness, his dedication, his big heart, his large personality, and contributions to the department will be greatly missed.

Rest in peace brother, we will take it from here.

Marshall Volunteer Fire Department and Farmers & Merchants State Bank have coordinated to set up an account to help support the Dominguez Family during this difficult time. Beginning January 3, 2022, for those looking to support the Dominguez Family, donations will be accepted either in person at both F & M locations - Marshall/Waterloo or via mail (see below). Thank you to the Community for mobilizing efforts so quickly to support the Dominguez Family until this account could be established.
